Content strategists are wary of the first MOOC about the discipline organized by an University of Illinois. At a debate in Barcelona, they questioned the definition of content strategy that was provided in the course. They consider that occurred appropriation and distortion of content strategy, a method that can also serve for marketing, but is not limited to this function.
